20ft Shipping Container with Personnel Door
A standard 20ft with a hinged walk-in door cut into the side or end. Get in and out without unbarring the full cargo doors every time.

Why people add a man door
Opening cargo doors is a production. Throw the locking bars, swing both leaves wide, then reverse the process. Fine once a week. Miserable six times a day.
A personnel door is a standard hinged steel door, typically 820mm wide, fitted with a lockset and weather seals. You walk in like you would into any building. The cargo doors stay shut and sealed, which also means the contents stay out of sight from the street.
Placement is the decision
Side-mounted is the usual choice and gives you access along the length of the container. End-mounted, next to the cargo doors, suits sites where the container is parked hard against a fence on both sides. Tell us your site layout when you enquire and we will recommend one.
Fitted properly, or not at all
A man door is a hole cut in a structural steel box. Done badly it compromises the wall and leaks for the life of the container. Ours are framed with reinforcement around the opening and sealed. If you are pricing this against a cheaper quote elsewhere, ask the other supplier how they frame the aperture — the answer tells you a great deal.
Combine it
This works well alongside shelving, vents and lighting as a single fitout. Ask about a combined quote.
A container with personnel door costs more than a plain box and saves time every day it is in service. For anything you enter daily, the sums work quickly.
