Two ends, two options

A tunnel container does two useful things a standard container cannot. First, you can drive or walk straight through, which matters when the container sits between two working areas. Second, you can partition the middle and end up with two separate secure stores, each with its own doors — genuinely useful if two trades, two departments or two tenants are sharing one box.

Real-world uses

Worksites where materials come in one end and go out the other. Sporting clubs splitting storage between two teams. Farms dividing chemical storage from general gear. Businesses subletting half a container to a neighbour.

The honest trade-off

Two door sets mean two sets of seals and two potential leak paths. Cargo doors are well engineered and this is rarely a problem, but a tunnel container has slightly more that can eventually need attention than a solid-ended one. It is also marginally less rigid, so — as ever — get the ground level under all four corners.

Partitioning

If you want the container split, tell us at quote stage. A partition fitted at our depot before delivery is straightforward; retrofitting one on your site is not.

If you want a 20ft double door container partitioned into two stores, say so at quote stage — fitting the bulkhead here is simple, fitting it on your site is not.
