40ft Double Door (Tunnel) Shipping Container
Forty feet with doors at both ends. The partitioning option that makes a 40ft practical when a single twelve-metre space is unmanageable.
Making a 40ft usable
A 40ft gives you the best value per cubic metre and the worst access of any standard container. Anything at the far end is effectively in storage you cannot reach. Doors at both ends halve that problem immediately: nothing is ever more than six metres from a door.
Partition the middle and you have two 20ft stores for less than the cost of two 20ft containers, on one footprint, with one delivery.
Who uses them
Multi-trade construction sites. Businesses storing two distinct categories that must not mix — clean stock and dirty plant, food-grade and chemical. Properties where two parties share one container.
Plan the orientation
Both ends need clear swing space and approach. On a 40ft that is a lot of ground committed. Work out before delivery which way the container faces and what sits at each end, because repositioning twelve metres of steel is a crane job, not an afternoon.
