The smallest container we supply. A 6ft box fits where a 10ft will not — narrow driveways, courtyards, rooftop plant areas — and still gives you a lockable steel store that no shed will match for security.

When a 6ft container is the right call

Most people come to us for a 6ft because access decided it for them. A standard tilt tray needs room to slide a box off, and if your gate is three metres wide or your yard backs onto a fence line, a 20ft is simply never going to land. The 6ft solves that. It takes up roughly the footprint of a small car and can be positioned in places a larger container cannot reach.

The trade-off is honest: you get less floor area. What you do not lose is the steel. Same Corten construction, same lockable cam-lock doors, same weather seals as the big units. Tradespeople use them for tool and power-tool storage on residential builds. Landscapers park them on site for a fortnight. Homeowners use them during renovations when the garage becomes a work zone.

What to think about before you order

Ground preparation matters more on a small container, not less. A 6ft has fewer contact points, so soft ground will let one corner sink and the doors will bind. Timber sleepers or a few concrete pavers under the corner castings solve it permanently.

Ventilation is worth discussing if you are storing anything that can sweat — fuel cans, damp canvas, garden chemicals. We can talk you through vent options when you enquire.
