Container Loading Ramp

A steel ramp that bridges the gap from ground level to the container floor, so wheeled equipment can drive in instead of being lifted in.

The step nobody plans for

A container floor sits well above ground level, and that step is the reason a lot of containers end up loaded by hand. A pallet jack cannot climb it. A trolley cannot climb it. A forklift can reach in but cannot enter, which limits you to whatever the tynes will reach.

A ramp removes the problem completely and usually pays for itself in labour within months.

Specify the equipment, not the ramp

Ramp capacity has to match the heaviest thing crossing it, loaded — and people routinely forget to count the load. A three tonne forklift carrying a tonne needs a four tonne ramp as a minimum. Tell us what equipment you run and what it carries, and we will match the rating.

Fit and stability

A ramp that does not seat properly against the container threshold is a hazard. Ground at the base needs to be firm and level, and the ramp needs to locate securely so it cannot shift under load.

Works with

Standard cargo doors, roller door containers and side openers alike. Tell us which configuration you have.

Specify your container loading ramp by the heaviest loaded machine that will cross it, not by the machine’s own weight. People routinely forget the load.
