Gas storage is a ventilation problem

Everything about storing cylinders comes back to airflow. A leaking cylinder in a sealed steel box builds an explosive atmosphere. A leaking cylinder in a properly ventilated cage disperses harmlessly. This is why gas stores are built with mesh panels and open construction rather than sealed walls — the ventilation is not a feature, it is the entire safety case.

What we build

Large mesh ventilation panels for continuous airflow. Cylinder restraint bars so bottles cannot fall — a falling cylinder that shears its valve becomes a projectile. Segregation for incompatible gases, particularly oxygen and fuel gases, which must be kept separated. Compliant signage. Fittings selected with ignition sources in mind.

Siting

Separation distances from buildings, boundaries and ignition sources are set by regulation and are usually the constraint on where the store can go. Work that out before you order so you know the container will fit where it needs to sit.
