Electrical plant needs a building it usually does not have

Switchgear, motor control centres, PLCs and control systems need protection from weather, dust and heat, plus secure access control. On mine sites, solar farms, water treatment plants and remote industrial installations, there is frequently nothing suitable. Building a block structure takes months. A switch room container arrives finished.

What makes it a switch room

Sealed construction against dust and water ingress, which matters far more here than on a storage container. Insulation and active temperature control, because electronics fail when they cook. Cable entry glands and dedicated cable management. Mounting frames and gear trays. Internal lighting and emergency lighting. Earthing and bonding arrangements. Secure access with appropriate locking.

Fire and detection

Many installations require detection and suppression. Tell us your requirements at quote stage — retrofitting is disruptive.

This is an engineered build

Switch rooms are specified against your electrical design, not ordered from a list. Send us your requirements, your gear schedule and your environmental conditions, and we will work through it properly. Installation, commissioning and electrical certification sit with your licensed contractor.
