Fitting out a retail tenancy takes months and a lease. A container kiosk is delivered finished, can be placed on a site you control, and can be relocated when the location stops working. For coffee, food, bar service, hire counters and event trading, it is a fundamentally different commercial proposition.

The fitout that matters

A servery window with a lift-up awning that shades customers and forms the counter. Stainless commercial benching. Hand wash basin and sink arrangements to health requirements. Water supply, waste, and grease management where food is prepared. Power sized for commercial equipment, because a coffee machine and a grinder together draw more than people assume. Ventilation and extraction. Lighting inside and over the servery. Roller shutter or secure closure for when you are not trading.

Health approval is the gate

A food business needs local council health approval, and the fitout requirements — surfaces, wash facilities, temperature control, waste — are specific and enforced. Involve your council’s environmental health officer early. We build to the specification; you need to know what specification applies to you.
