Container Shelter / Igloo Roof Kit

An arched roof kit that spans between two containers, turning the gap into covered space. Vastly cheaper per square metre than any shed.

If you already have two containers, the space between them is doing nothing. A shelter kit spans it with an arched frame and heavy-duty cover, and suddenly you have a large covered area for a fraction of what an equivalent shed costs — no slab, no engineering for a standalone structure, no lengthy build.

The containers do double duty: storage in their own right, and the footings and walls of the shelter.

What it is used for

Machinery and vehicle cover. Hay and fodder storage. Workshop and maintenance space out of the sun. Stock shelter. Equipment and materials on civil sites. Boat and caravan storage.

Realistic about what it is

A shelter is a cover, not a building. It keeps sun and rain off extremely well. It is not sealed, not secure, and not a substitute for a shed if you need either. Covers are a wearing item and have a service life, particularly under harsh UV.

Wind is the design consideration

An arched cover is a large sail. Anchoring to the containers must be done properly, and in high-wind regions the rating of the kit matters. Tell us your location and exposure when you enquire.
