Australia’s most common container size, in used condition. The default answer for secure storage when the budget is real and the container is going to work for a living.

The workhorse

If you asked us which container we sell most of, this is it. Twenty feet is the size that fits on the widest range of sites, suits the widest range of trucks, and holds enough to be genuinely useful — roughly the contents of a two to three bedroom house, or a full set of site tools and materials with room to move.

Condition, without the sales gloss

These have worked. Paint will be faded and patchy, there will be dents, and there will be rust in the usual places — around the door frames, along the roof rails, at the base rail where water sits. Inside, the plywood floor will show forklift scarring and cargo staining.

What matters is that it is wind and watertight, the doors seal and close square, the floor is solid, and it is structurally sound enough to lift. We check all of that before anything leaves the depot.

Site preparation

Level ground under the four corners is the whole game. A container that sits twisted will have doors that will not close, and that is a problem no amount of force fixes. Sleepers, pavers or a compacted pad at each corner casting is enough for most sites. We will talk you through it.
